Shades of Red

Remember when "oxblood" was the color of the fall and winter season last year? I couldn't help but think what a pretentious choice of term that was. I mean, oxblood is just a fancy way of describing a dark shade of red, isn't it? But I guess that would just be boring to say. This year, according to the Pantone Fashion Color Report, among the colors of Fall 2013 is "samba, a spirited red". *rolls eyes* I know the color red has many shades but who knew that it had a fiery cousin called "samba"? Anyhoo, a recent trip to Zara resulted in the purchase of these, shall I call it, "merlot" stretch pants. They're super comfortable and so easy to pair with anything. I decided to go for the monochromatic look and pair these pants with my pink sweater. Add to that a "scarlet" oversized clutch, a faux leather moto jacket and leopard heels, and we're good to go!
