Language & cultural books:
- Hindi by Reena - intro to Hindi for preschoolers
- T4Tales - Bilingual (English and different Indian langaugess with beautiful illustrations for preschoolers up to age 5/6
- Indigrow - A to Z of India and Colours of India books showcase the familiar, cultural and every day moments of Indian life
- Tulika Books - publisher of children's books by South Asian authors, many of which are bilingual
- Meet Buckley - English and transliterated Hindi book
- Mango and Marigolds Press - independent publisher on stories of the South Asian experience, including those living abroad and growing up outside India
- ShopYug - Offers books on various historical and notable figures in Indian history
Religious/mythology books:
- Meet My Hindu Gods by Desi Babies - An introduction to your toddler or preschooler to the Hindu gods and goddesses
- Kahaani Puraani by t4tales is a boardbook introducing the story of Ramayan in its simplest form for a young audience
- Amma Tell Me series by Bhakti Mathur is for ages 4 and up, showcasing stories of Indian festivals and mythological stories on Ram, Hanuman, Maa Kali, etc
- Anita Raina Thapan books such as Hurray for Diwali & Little Hanuman
- Ganesha’s Sweet Tooth by Emily Haynes and Sanjay Patel for kids up to ages
- Collection of books by Swamini Supriyananda, including Mata Mama & Me, Go Hanuman! Go!, Ganesha’s Mousecapade for preschoolers up to ages 6/7
